Awesome Cabin retreat!
My wife and I (and dog) enjoyed the cabin stay very much. We stayed at the cabin the last weekend in March. It definitely has a great location perched atop the mountains with access to some hiking trails right from the back yard.
There was still 2-3′ of snow outside in the woods so we couldnt quite make out where all the trials may be but the cabin came with snow shoes which came in very handy. The cabin is just the right size and very cozy/ inviting. I could see myself bringing future children there someday as there was a fun looking bedroom upstairs for kids to stay.
Bathrooms upstairs and downstairs was convenient! Kitchen had everything you would need for a long weekend and then some! The dozens of spices on reserve came in handy for Bloody Marys and scrambled eggs! I never got a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked clean and inviting as well. Then at night it felt like we were in the movie theater with the enormous drop down projector screen which was also crystal clear picture quality.
Also, everything is labeled (lights, cabinets, drawers etc) this came in very handy and we appreciated it. We did have a little trouble getting the projector working but Jeff answered my phone call right away and walked me through it. No complaints at all from our experience. The cabin is also located only about 10 mins from some good restaurants. We only tried Maple Soul which I would highly recommend and the Rochester Cafe right in town there. Rochester Cafe had very good breakfast and coffee.
