WHEN CHECKING OUT (11AM):

Please remember to leave 20 minutes or so to make sure the cabin is secured and safe for the next renters. We hope you had a great stay, but please complete the following before your 11am departure:

Please either strip used beds, or leave unmade. (Otherwise the housekeeper may think they are clean.)
Close and lock all lower windows and close the three skylights. (In the summer, it’s okay to leave upper motorized windows over window seat and loft bed window open.)
Please put trash into barrel in shed (but it’s fine to leave as housekeeper can do it).
Turn off the gas fireplace in living room (sometimes you need to hit the remote button twice).
Make sure projector is turned off (bulbs have a short life and are very expensive) as well as stereo.
Leave kitchen heater on (64-68*) as well as floor heaters in mud and bath rooms (80*).
Make sure hot tub and gas grill are both covered.
Lock the front porch door with the deadbolt.
Turn off lights (except outdoor motion and exterior entry lights).
Close entry door and push “Ultraloq” button on bottom of keypad to lock from outside. (You should hear it close.)
