About

Jeff (with daughter Lily and Chester) is a Boston architect/contractor and resident of Concord for 20 years. Beginning in 2006, he designed and restored the cabin on his own, working weekends over the course of three years. Initially, his wife was very reluctant, but once done, she is now the cabin’s biggest fan. It was designed and built for his family, and so very few details were left unaddressed.

Although the existing cabin was in sad repair, Jeff saw the potential, the beautiful views, and had the dream and tools to make it happen. It is now our favorite place to be and we have established many great relationships there. Our neighbors are very welcoming and we often spend the weekends, just relaxing and basking in the cabin’s great light and warmth.

We have been coming to this area since the mid 1970’s and dreamed of having a retreat here for 35 years. Skiing is only 15-30 minutes away, and several romantic villages are nearby, giving endless options to explore and enjoy. Being on 10 acres and in Granville, it is also very private and peaceful. However, it is a very active and engaging community, which we love being a part of and welcome others to share in, too!
