Snow Plowing:

Usually Dennis will plow our driveway between 9:00-10:00 am.
The town usually plows our road earlier in the morning. Please be patient if it is a significant storm. And I always recommend dedicated snow tires in the winter, especially in the mountains. All season tires are not enough during a storm, even with AWD or 4WD.

In the event of Power Loss: Green Mountain Power (800) 451-2877

Usually, it is for a short period. There are flashlights and battery powered lanterns in the kitchen, master bed and mud room. You will need to heat the cabin using the gas “wood stove”. (The heater will not work, but the gas stove will.) Do not use the hot tub until power returns. The water pressure is maintained with an electric pump, so use it sparingly. Light kitchen stove with match or lighter. Please don’t use candles. Also, there are battery powered lights at the top and bottom of the stairs that should automatically turn on. Thx.
