Snowshoeing with your dog on our trails is just one of many fun activities here at the cabin:

Killington opened to the public Monday, Nov. 4 (to passholders the day before). Reports are saying that the man-made snow conditions were great and that it even snowed on Sunday!

It was a beautiful fall foliage season… so glad to get to see and enjoy it!

A recent guest spotted this bull moose off of the Natural Turnpike in Ripton this September. He photographed it some time between 7:30 and 8am and has graciously allowed us to display it here, so please enjoy!

Located right here in Granville, Michael Egan Glassblowing is a definite must visit. You can watch Michael and apprentice(s) at work and/or shop in his gallery. We’ve found many one of a kind pieces and his beautiful glassware makes for excellent gifts!

Some of our long time renters have inquired as to what is being built just up the trail? It’s a tiny, 250 square foot cabin with loft, which we plan to make available for rent and use as our “guest house” when family and friends are visiting. Originally built as our new shed next to the cabin, I’ve had it moved and placed on a foundation so that it will be usable all year. I am currently in the process of finishing the interior, then planning to begin rentals some time early 2021.
Recently opened Maple Soul is the areas newest restaurant and definitely worth giving a shot. Less than 15 minutes from the cabin, it is well worth the short drive for a tasty and farm fresh dining experience… Elegant, yet casual, I highly recommend them!

The long awaited Worthy Burger Too is now open! Located in Waitsfield, it is half the distance to the original Worthy Burger located in South Royalton. You can now enjoy one of the finest grass fed beef burgers in Vermont locally. And wash it down with some of the finest Vermont beers available…. what could be better?!
